Good Morning America debuted the new trailer for Blue Sky Studios’ Epic, an CGI animated film starring Josh Hutcherson and Amanda Seyfried.
The animation in the trailer is spectacular and beautiful. The first part of the trailer is nearly silent except for the Twilight-esque song that plays over the action. We see a little soilder (presumably Nod, voiced by Josh Hutcherson) bouncing around the trees making grunting noises akin to Link from The Legend of Zelda. The last part of the trailer brings in some comedy with a hilarious talking slug character as we are finally introduced to Seyfried’s human-turned-little character, Mary Katherine.
Epic is directed by Ice Age director Chris Wedge and hits theatres May 24, 2013.
