While it still gives off a <em>FernGully<\/em> vibe, it still looks very interesting and\u2014dare we say\u2014epic. The animation of the human characters is interesting and appealing, as is the story.<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>We must say, <em>Epic<\/em>\u00a0looks like it will be on of the better animated films of the year. Based on the trailer, it seems his obvious slow speed might be obstacle in achieving that dream. So once they\u2019re available for pay TV, they\u2019ll be available on Netflix. The deal includes all of the Disney film library, including Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios and Disneynature.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\">Back in February, Netflix\u2019s deal with Starz <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/02\/27\/netflix-starz-play_n_1304611.html\"><span class=\"s1\">expired<\/span><\/a> and with it went nearly 1000 Starz moving titles, including many Disney\/Pixar titles such as <em>Toy Story 3<\/em>, <em>Tangled<\/em> and <em>The Princess and the Frog<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\">The deal is not only limited to future releases, but Disney\u2019s current collection as well. Already, many Disney films have already popped up on Netflix, including many animated titles such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, The Aristocats, The Great Mouse Detective\u2026I could go on and on.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\">The deal seems like a great move for Disney. It seems almost everyone has a Netflix subscription nowadays and people turn to Netflix before hitting up Redbox or Blockbuster (if you can even find one open). I know many families that even forgo cable subscriptions because Netflix\u2019s collection of kid\u2019s movies and TV shows is so all-encompassing. Perhaps Disney wants to have its movies be top of consumers\u2019 minds through this deal, which will ultimately result in more more box office sales for Disney films. Twenty-five years ago, Studio Ghibli released <em>My Neighbor Totoro<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Grave of the Fireflies <\/em>on the same day in 1988.\r\n\r\nTurns out,<em> The Wind Rises\u00a0<\/em>is the film about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotoscopers.com\/news\/2012\/7\/23\/next-studio-ghibli-film-is-about-the-iconic-mitsubishi-a6m-z.html\">iconic Mitsubishi A6M Zero Japanese WWII fighter plane<\/a> and its creator Horikoshi. <em>T<\/em><em>he Tale of Princess Kaguya<\/em>\u00a0is based on a Japanese folktale about a princess discovered growing inside a bamboo plant.\r\n\r\nThe subject matter and design of these films are very different, yet very fittingly Studio Ghibli. Well, that\u2019s the tale that Disney\u2019s cute live-action film,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B005LAIIL2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B005LAIIL2&adid=0MKKKJ6EQNQFJTASMW4N&\">The Odd Life of Timothy Green<\/a> <\/em>tells. It sounds a bit quirky, but you\u2019ll soon fall in love with Timothy Green.\r\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>The Film <\/strong><strong>\u2605\u2605\u2605<\/strong><strong> 1\/2\r\n<\/strong><em>The Odd Life of Timothy Green<\/em> tells the story of a young couple, Cindy (<strong>Jennifer Garner<\/strong>) and Jim Green (<strong>Joel Edgerton<\/strong>), who\u2014after finding out they can\u2019t have a child of their own\u2014end up miraculously growing a child out of their garden. The boy\u2019s name is Timothy (<strong>CJ Adams<\/strong>) and he joins the Green\u2019s family. Together the three must learn how to learn and grow to become a functional, happy family.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\">I really enjoyed this film. From the first scene, I became invested in the Green\u2019s plight and just wanted them to find happiness. Then once Timothy came around, I was rooting for the family so they could find their happy ending. The film is well acted by the leads Garner, Edgerton, and Adams and beautifully directed by <strong>Peter Hedges<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>The Features <\/strong><strong>\u2605\u2605<\/strong><strong> 1\/2\r\n<\/strong>The bonus features weren\u2019t the best we\u2019ve seen, although they weren\u2019t the worst either; all in all, they were pretty standard. The features consist of a making-of featurette, a featurette about the film\u2019s score, a music video, an audio commentary and deleted scenes.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>Final Thoughts:\r\n<\/strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B005LAIIL2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B005LAIIL2&adid=0MKKKJ6EQNQFJTASMW4N&\">The Odd Life of Timothy Green<\/a> <\/em>is an all-around whimsical, feel-good film. That being said, would I buy it? It\u2019s been nearly eight years since the first volume of shorts was released, so it\u2019s exciting that Pixar finally accumulated enough shorts to release another collection: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0091NWBC2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B0091NWBC2&adid=0RBJEAXTT5A1JC00E6WR&\">Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 2<\/a><\/em>.\r\n<h4><strong>The Films \u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605 1\/2<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0091NWBC2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B0091NWBC2&adid=0RBJEAXTT5A1JC00E6WR&\">Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 2<\/a> <\/em>is a compilation of shorts starting with <em>Your Friend the Rat<\/em>\u00a0through <em>Time Travel Mater.\u00a0<\/em>It\u2019s great that all of these shorts have been put together in this collection, especially considering many of them are scattered across various Pixar DVDs.\r\n\r\nOf course, the shorts are all fun and perfectly polished pieces of art (excuse the alliteration). My personal favorites were the <em>Toy Story Toon<\/em>, <em>Hawaiian Vacation<\/em> (I\u2019m a sucker for Ken), <em>Day and Night<\/em> (gotta love the venture into 2D animation), <em>Presto<\/em>,<em> La Luna<\/em>\u2026heck, they\u2019re all good. My only qualm is that there are far less original shorts in this collection compared to the first, which is understandable considering Pixar wants to capitalize on the success of its characters.\r\n<h4><strong>The Features \u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nThe features are bit more substantial that what I expected (I was expecting there not to be any at all). My favorites were the collection of student shorts from various Pixar directors John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton and Pete Doctor. It\u2019s great to see where these Pixar legends got their start and fascinating to see how their shorts connect with their future work (for example: both of John Lasseter\u2019s shorts were about inanimate objects coming to life, which would later be the focus of many Pixar films such as<em> Toy Story<\/em> and <em>Cars<\/em>).\r\n\r\nEach short has the option to watch it with commentary from the director and other production personnel. This was a nice touch and allowed you to go further in-depth into each of these spectacular little shorts. So if you\u2019re a commentary-o-phile like me, you\u2019ll most likely jump to watching the shorts with the commentary <em>first<\/em>!\r\n<h4><strong>Final Thoughts<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0091NWBC2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B0091NWBC2&adid=0RBJEAXTT5A1JC00E6WR&\">Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 2<\/a> <\/em>is a must-have for any Pixar fan\u2019s collection. While the majority of these shorts can be found elsewhere, it\u2019s nice to have them all conveniently in one place for when you have a hankering to watch them all at once. It shows the films two main characters, Anna and Kristoff, as they set out in an icy landscape to find the Snow Queen, Elsa. The scene is beautiful and shows the breathtaking potential this film has. I personally love Anna\u2019s bright fuschia cape, which stands in contrast to the icy blue hues that surround her.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/family-room.ew.com\/2012\/12\/13\/disneys-frozen-animated-feature-reveals-icy-concept-art-first-look\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> also provided some more info about the film in an interview with directors <strong>Chris Buck<\/strong> and <strong>Jennifer Lee<\/strong>. Relating to the strange ice formations, Lee said:\r\n<blockquote>We wanted to push it to the extreme.\u00a0The unnatural quality of the ice emphasizes this is not, you know, sky-made ice, but ice made by someone.<\/blockquote>\r\nRelating to the snowflake shapes embossed on the ice, Buck said:\r\n<blockquote>You\u2019ll see that shape throughout,\u201d Buck says. \u201cIt\u2019s very subtle, but that\u2019s basically [evidence of] Elsa\u2019s magic. That\u2019s her signature.<\/blockquote>\r\nAs we learned at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotoscopers.com\/18\">Destination D<\/a>\u00a0and from the article, Anna and Elsa are royal sisters. When Elsa becomes the queen of the kingdom, she does all that she can to avoid fulfilling a prophecy that says a ruler with an icy heart will curse the kingdom with a never-ending winter. Ever since she was little, Elsa has been hiding a dark secret about her powers to control ice and snow. Finally, she loses control of her powers and then flees to the mountains where she puts the kindgom in perpetual winter and creates icy domain surrounded by snowmen guards to keep intruders away.\r\n\r\nIt\u2019s interesting that we haven\u2019t had more official releases from Disney about <em>Frozen<\/em>\u00a0considering the film is already less than one year away from its release. Usually one year out, we at least have <em>some<\/em>\u00a0sort of teaser trailer.\u00a0I have a feeling that we might be surprised with a trailer during <em>Monsters Inc 3D<\/em>. December is the perfect month to capitalize on a film called <em>Frozen<\/em>, after all. Tolkien\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Hobbit\u00a0<\/em>into a three-part story as well. The story takes place in Middle-earth 60 years before the Lord of the Rings and starts as our hero old Bilbo Baggins (<strong>Ian Holm<\/strong>) is writing his story to give to his nephew, Frodo (<strong>Elijah Wood<\/strong>). A story that starts out as Gandalf the Grey (<strong>Ian Mckellen<\/strong>) has determined that young Bilbo (<strong>Martin Freeman<\/strong>) is the missing link in a dangerous mission that he is undertaking in order to help twelve Dwarfs and their legendary warrior\/king, Thorin Oakenshield (<strong>Richard Armitage<\/strong>) reclaim their home, the lost Kingdom of Erebor. The tiny Bilbo has to find and prove his place in the group while along the way discover the courage and strength that surprise even him. It\u2019s a story of many layers, twists and turns, and friendship for the inexperienced and un-expectant hobbit.\r\n\r\nAs expected <strong>Andy Serkis<\/strong> reprises his role as the iconic Gollum. As well as <strong>Cate Blanchett<\/strong> as Galadriel, \u00a0<strong>Christopher Lee<\/strong> as Saruman, and <strong>Hugo Weaving as Elrond<\/strong> are all found within the tale.\r\n\r\nA good thing about Jackson deciding to turn\u00a0J.R.R. Tolkien\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Hobbit<\/em>\u00a0into a three-part saga is that he can stay true to the details of the book. However, even for someone who has never read any of the books, like myself, this movie was an enjoyable whirlwind of action, interesting\u00a0characters,\u00a0and amazing visuals.\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">Like the LOTR series it was action packed and high intensity all the way through. It moved from one intense battle to the next, but at the same time left room for the light and humorous moments that left you really liking the main characters\u2014no matter how strage or awkward they first seemed to you. They also threw in a few morals for the fun of it I guess (or maybe that was the point of the book.)<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">I saw this in 3D and at first (like all live action 3D films) it was hard to get used to and hurt my head. I wouldn\u2019t go see that version again but as time when on, I did get used to it and was able to enjoy the\u00a0dazzling\u00a0visuals.\u00a0Golem looked <em>amazing<\/em>. I was spellbound and blown away at the quality of his animation. I couldn\u2019t take my eyes off him. Special effects all around were beautiful and quite seamless. I would like to give a special shout out and major props to the sound editing department on this film. What they did gave me chills on multiple occasions.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">All together I give it 3.5 stars. It wasn\u2019t my favorite movie of the year\u2014maybe because I\u2019m a girl who has never read the books\u2014but by all means it is definetly\u00a0worth watching in theaters.<\/p>\r\n<p Based on the trailer, it seems his obvious slow speed might be obstacle in achieving that dream. So once they\u2019re available for pay TV, they\u2019ll be available on Netflix. The deal includes all of the Disney film library, including Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios and Disneynature.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\">Back in February, Netflix\u2019s deal with Starz <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/02\/27\/netflix-starz-play_n_1304611.html\"><span class=\"s1\">expired<\/span><\/a> and with it went nearly 1000 Starz moving titles, including many Disney\/Pixar titles such as <em>Toy Story 3<\/em>, <em>Tangled<\/em> and <em>The Princess and the Frog<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\">The deal is not only limited to future releases, but Disney\u2019s current collection as well. Already, many Disney films have already popped up on Netflix, including many animated titles such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, The Aristocats, The Great Mouse Detective\u2026I could go on and on.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\">The deal seems like a great move for Disney. It seems almost everyone has a Netflix subscription nowadays and people turn to Netflix before hitting up Redbox or Blockbuster (if you can even find one open). I know many families that even forgo cable subscriptions because Netflix\u2019s collection of kid\u2019s movies and TV shows is so all-encompassing. Perhaps Disney wants to have its movies be top of consumers\u2019 minds through this deal, which will ultimately result in more more box office sales for Disney films. Twenty-five years ago, Studio Ghibli released <em>My Neighbor Totoro<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Grave of the Fireflies <\/em>on the same day in 1988.\r\n\r\nTurns out,<em> The Wind Rises\u00a0<\/em>is the film about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotoscopers.com\/news\/2012\/7\/23\/next-studio-ghibli-film-is-about-the-iconic-mitsubishi-a6m-z.html\">iconic Mitsubishi A6M Zero Japanese WWII fighter plane<\/a> and its creator Horikoshi. <em>T<\/em><em>he Tale of Princess Kaguya<\/em>\u00a0is based on a Japanese folktale about a princess discovered growing inside a bamboo plant.\r\n\r\nThe subject matter and design of these films are very different, yet very fittingly Studio Ghibli. It sounds a bit quirky, but you\u2019ll soon fall in love with Timothy Green.\r\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>The Film <\/strong><strong>\u2605\u2605\u2605<\/strong><strong> 1\/2\r\n<\/strong><em>The Odd Life of Timothy Green<\/em> tells the story of a young couple, Cindy (<strong>Jennifer Garner<\/strong>) and Jim Green (<strong>Joel Edgerton<\/strong>), who\u2014after finding out they can\u2019t have a child of their own\u2014end up miraculously growing a child out of their garden. The boy\u2019s name is Timothy (<strong>CJ Adams<\/strong>) and he joins the Green\u2019s family. Together the three must learn how to learn and grow to become a functional, happy family.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\">I really enjoyed this film. From the first scene, I became invested in the Green\u2019s plight and just wanted them to find happiness. Then once Timothy came around, I was rooting for the family so they could find their happy ending. The film is well acted by the leads Garner, Edgerton, and Adams and beautifully directed by <strong>Peter Hedges<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>The Features <\/strong><strong>\u2605\u2605<\/strong><strong> 1\/2\r\n<\/strong>The bonus features weren\u2019t the best we\u2019ve seen, although they weren\u2019t the worst either; all in all, they were pretty standard. The features consist of a making-of featurette, a featurette about the film\u2019s score, a music video, an audio commentary and deleted scenes.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>Final Thoughts:\r\n<\/strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B005LAIIL2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B005LAIIL2&adid=0MKKKJ6EQNQFJTASMW4N&\">The Odd Life of Timothy Green<\/a> <\/em>is an all-around whimsical, feel-good film. That being said, would I buy it? It\u2019s been nearly eight years since the first volume of shorts was released, so it\u2019s exciting that Pixar finally accumulated enough shorts to release another collection: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0091NWBC2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B0091NWBC2&adid=0RBJEAXTT5A1JC00E6WR&\">Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 2<\/a><\/em>.\r\n<h4><strong>The Films \u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605 1\/2<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0091NWBC2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B0091NWBC2&adid=0RBJEAXTT5A1JC00E6WR&\">Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 2<\/a> <\/em>is a compilation of shorts starting with <em>Your Friend the Rat<\/em>\u00a0through <em>Time Travel Mater.\u00a0<\/em>It\u2019s great that all of these shorts have been put together in this collection, especially considering many of them are scattered across various Pixar DVDs.\r\n\r\nOf course, the shorts are all fun and perfectly polished pieces of art (excuse the alliteration). My personal favorites were the <em>Toy Story Toon<\/em>, <em>Hawaiian Vacation<\/em> (I\u2019m a sucker for Ken), <em>Day and Night<\/em> (gotta love the venture into 2D animation), <em>Presto<\/em>,<em> La Luna<\/em>\u2026heck, they\u2019re all good. My only qualm is that there are far less original shorts in this collection compared to the first, which is understandable considering Pixar wants to capitalize on the success of its characters.\r\n<h4><strong>The Features \u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nThe features are bit more substantial that what I expected (I was expecting there not to be any at all). My favorites were the collection of student shorts from various Pixar directors John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton and Pete Doctor. It\u2019s great to see where these Pixar legends got their start and fascinating to see how their shorts connect with their future work (for example: both of John Lasseter\u2019s shorts were about inanimate objects coming to life, which would later be the focus of many Pixar films such as<em> Toy Story<\/em> and <em>Cars<\/em>).\r\n\r\nEach short has the option to watch it with commentary from the director and other production personnel. This was a nice touch and allowed you to go further in-depth into each of these spectacular little shorts. So if you\u2019re a commentary-o-phile like me, you\u2019ll most likely jump to watching the shorts with the commentary <em>first<\/em>!\r\n<h4><strong>Final Thoughts<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0091NWBC2\/ref=as_li_ss_til?tag=therotos-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=B0091NWBC2&adid=0RBJEAXTT5A1JC00E6WR&\">Pixar Short Films Collection Volume 2<\/a> <\/em>is a must-have for any Pixar fan\u2019s collection. While the majority of these shorts can be found elsewhere, it\u2019s nice to have them all conveniently in one place for when you have a hankering to watch them all at once. It shows the films two main characters, Anna and Kristoff, as they set out in an icy landscape to find the Snow Queen, Elsa. The scene is beautiful and shows the breathtaking potential this film has. I personally love Anna\u2019s bright fuschia cape, which stands in contrast to the icy blue hues that surround her.\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/family-room.ew.com\/2012\/12\/13\/disneys-frozen-animated-feature-reveals-icy-concept-art-first-look\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> also provided some more info about the film in an interview with directors <strong>Chris Buck<\/strong> and <strong>Jennifer Lee<\/strong>. Relating to the strange ice formations, Lee said:\r\n<blockquote>We wanted to push it to the extreme.\u00a0The unnatural quality of the ice emphasizes this is not, you know, sky-made ice, but ice made by someone.<\/blockquote>\r\nRelating to the snowflake shapes embossed on the ice, Buck said:\r\n<blockquote>You\u2019ll see that shape throughout,\u201d Buck says. \u201cIt\u2019s very subtle, but that\u2019s basically [evidence of] Elsa\u2019s magic. That\u2019s her signature.<\/blockquote>\r\nAs we learned at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotoscopers.com\/18\">Destination D<\/a>\u00a0and from the article, Anna and Elsa are royal sisters. When Elsa becomes the queen of the kingdom, she does all that she can to avoid fulfilling a prophecy that says a ruler with an icy heart will curse the kingdom with a never-ending winter. Ever since she was little, Elsa has been hiding a dark secret about her powers to control ice and snow. Finally, she loses control of her powers and then flees to the mountains where she puts the kindgom in perpetual winter and creates icy domain surrounded by snowmen guards to keep intruders away.\r\n\r\nIt\u2019s interesting that we haven\u2019t had more official releases from Disney about <em>Frozen<\/em>\u00a0considering the film is already less than one year away from its release. Usually one year out, we at least have <em>some<\/em>\u00a0sort of teaser trailer.\u00a0I have a feeling that we might be surprised with a trailer during <em>Monsters Inc 3D<\/em>. December is the perfect month to capitalize on a film called <em>Frozen<\/em>, after all. Tolkien\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Hobbit\u00a0<\/em>into a three-part story as well. The story takes place in Middle-earth 60 years before the Lord of the Rings and starts as our hero old Bilbo Baggins (<strong>Ian Holm<\/strong>) is writing his story to give to his nephew, Frodo (<strong>Elijah Wood<\/strong>). A story that starts out as Gandalf the Grey (<strong>Ian Mckellen<\/strong>) has determined that young Bilbo (<strong>Martin Freeman<\/strong>) is the missing link in a dangerous mission that he is undertaking in order to help twelve Dwarfs and their legendary warrior\/king, Thorin Oakenshield (<strong>Richard Armitage<\/strong>) reclaim their home, the lost Kingdom of Erebor. The tiny Bilbo has to find and prove his place in the group while along the way discover the courage and strength that surprise even him. It\u2019s a story of many layers, twists and turns, and friendship for the inexperienced and un-expectant hobbit.\r\n\r\nAs expected <strong>Andy Serkis<\/strong> reprises his role as the iconic Gollum. As well as <strong>Cate Blanchett<\/strong> as Galadriel, \u00a0<strong>Christopher Lee<\/strong> as Saruman, and <strong>Hugo Weaving as Elrond<\/strong> are all found within the tale.\r\n\r\nA good thing about Jackson deciding to turn\u00a0J.R.R. Tolkien\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Hobbit<\/em>\u00a0into a three-part saga is that he can stay true to the details of the book. However, even for someone who has never read any of the books, like myself, this movie was an enjoyable whirlwind of action, interesting\u00a0characters,\u00a0and amazing visuals.\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">Like the LOTR series it was action packed and high intensity all the way through. It moved from one intense battle to the next, but at the same time left room for the light and humorous moments that left you really liking the main characters\u2014no matter how strage or awkward they first seemed to you. They also threw in a few morals for the fun of it I guess (or maybe that was the point of the book.)<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">I saw this in 3D and at first (like all live action 3D films) it was hard to get used to and hurt my head. I wouldn\u2019t go see that version again but as time when on, I did get used to it and was able to enjoy the\u00a0dazzling\u00a0visuals.\u00a0Golem looked <em>amazing<\/em>. I was spellbound and blown away at the quality of his animation. I couldn\u2019t take my eyes off him. Special effects all around were beautiful and quite seamless. I would like to give a special shout out and major props to the sound editing department on this film. What they did gave me chills on multiple occasions.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">All together I give it 3.5 stars. It wasn\u2019t my favorite movie of the year\u2014maybe because I\u2019m a girl who has never read the books\u2014but by all means it is definetly\u00a0worth watching in theaters.<\/p>\r\n<p
