‘Shrek the Musical’ Blu-ray/DVD Hits Store Shelves October 15

One of the most disappointing things about musicals is finding out that you missed the tour or that musical is no longer playing anymore. You have to rely on bootleg versions on YouTube, which are never as good as the real thing.

Well never fear, Shrek the Musical is coming to Blu-ray and DVD this October. So if you missed the opportunity to see “the best musical for younger audiences since The Lion King“, then you’ll still have a chance to watch it and own it forever. What’s great about this recording is that the film was shot live on Broadway using 10 cameras, so you’ll get variations of angles, up-close shots, and a more interactive experience. Definitely beats sitting in the nose bleeds and for a fraction of the price.
