Despicable Me‘s cuddly, yellow Minions were a huge fan favorite, and they are probably a major reason why Despicable Me is getting a sequel, to be released on July 3rd, 2013.
So it is a surprise to learn that there will be evil Minions in the sequel, especially since those little yellow guys look the farthest thing away from being truly evil.
It was reported at CinemaCon that these evil minions would be purple, and their hair would resemble that of the Troll toys from our youth.
