Last week DreamWorks Animation announced that he final trailer of its upcoming animated feature How to Train Your Dragon 2 would release online this Friday. Well, looks like it’s been uploaded on iTunes Trailers and the internet (and the Dragons fandom) is going crazy about this. You can watch the trailer below but beware of spoilers! This trailer features the same spoilers as the first trailer, so don’t watch it if you didn’t see the first trailer.

Wow, just wow. What an amazing trailer. Besides the “spoilers”, I think this trailer is absolutely wonderful. We get a first look at a lot of the new characters (Eret and Drago) but just like the first trailer, the main focus is Hiccup, Valka and the big fight with Drago and all the dragons.

I’m already a big fan of Valka, who will be voiced by Cate Blanchett, so seeing a lot of her in this trailer was an added bonus. The trailer didn’t reveal a lot of new information about her, mainly just stuff we’d already seen in the first trailer. The Valka and Stoik scene looked absolutely wonderful but perhaps it would’ve been better that they didn’t reveal Stoik’s reaction in this trailer; this way it would’ve been a secret until the films release if he would react positive or negative at Valka…but whatever.

Also this trailer made me really suspicious to learn more about Eret and Drago so June can’t come soon enough for me.

Also DreamWorks released two new posters for the movie that can be found below.

It’s been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and vikings on the island of Berk. While Astrid, Snotlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island’s new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future of both men and dragons.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 will release in theatres June 13, 2014
