Disney Music Emporium returns to D23 Expo 2019 with a pop-up store on the show floor, featuring new releases, album signings, and classic Disney music merchandise. Of the 23 new music products available at the Expo, ten titles are especially noted, including: Avengers: Endgame (12” picture disc), Aladdin: The Songs (vinyl album), “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” (12” vinyl single from The Lion King), “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite” (12” picture disc),  “Married Life”/”Carl Goes Up” (12” vinyl from Up), The Princess and the Frog: The Songs (12” picture disc), and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” (12” single from Fantasia).

In addition to various merchandise (including vinyls, cassettes, and posters) and the opportunity to pre-order the upcoming Matthew Morrison Disney album, fans will also be treated to several album signing opportunities. Artists include Disney Legend Randy Newman (Toy Story), composer Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 and Vol 2), actor Anthony Gonzalez (Coco‘s Miguel), singer-songwriter-actor Matthew Morrison (Glee), and artist JD McCrary (young Simba in The Lion King).

As reported earlier this month, Disney Music Group’s supervising producer and music historian Randy Thornton will present “Great Moments with Walt Disney” at the Archives stage on Friday, August 23, at 10:30 AM. The presentation will include real audio recordings of Disney himself as he recalls developing the first cartoon with synchronized sound, and other moments, like creating the film studio’s first hit song.

For more information on Disney Music Emporium, check out their website. To stream classic Disney music, check out this website.

For tickets to D23 Expo 2019, check out the D23 Expo website. Single-day tickets for Friday and Sunday are still available. Single-day Saturday and three-day passes are sold out.
