Mark your calendars, Star Wars Rebels fans! February 19th is the beginning of the end! Today, we got our first look at the second half of the final season, as a trailer was released on the official Star Wars YouTube channel. There is a lot of old footage here, but the new stuff we get is very intriguing! Take a look for yourself!
No solid clues as to the fates of our heroes, but we do see some familiar faces! In addition to our main characters, it looks like we will be seeing the return of the Loth Wolves, (Including a giant one!) Wolffe and Gregor, Hondo Ohnaka, Ketsu Onyo, and Emperor Palpatine himself!
We still have no solid confirmation on the return of Ahsoka, but I’m still holding out hope, especially since we got a glimpse of the Father, the Daughter, and the Son!
For those of you not familiar, these were a trio of almost god-like beings from an arc of Clone Wars episodes that have come to be known as The Mortis Trilogy. They had an enormous impact on Ahsoka in these episodes, and I am hoping their presence in these last few episodes might point to her return. Yes, they are definitely not specifically tied to Ahsoka, but I am still holding out hope.
Star Wars Rebels will return on February 19th with two episodes, followed on February 26th with two more, and will conclude on March 5th, with the final three episodes of the series.
