Today, Amazon revealed a new book cover for a book about DreamWorks’ upcoming Kung Fu Panda 3. The cover gave us a first impression at Kung Fu Panda 3 as well as a first look at Po’s biological father.

This new Kung Fu Panda book, Po’s Two Dads, won’t be released until December of this year, but today we were very lucky enough to already get a first look at the book’s cover as well as a first look at Po’s biological father who will be voiced by Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston.

The book cover features a picture of Po and his adoptive father, Mr. Ping, with his biological father, to whom we were introduced at the end of Kung Fu Panda 2, standing next to him. The character and costume design of Po’s biological father have changed from his appearance at the end of the second Kung Fu Panda installment, but he looks fantastic and I personally can’t wait to see him in action. In the back of the characters, we can also see some art that appears to be concept art of the Panda Village where Po’s father lives.

More Kung Fu Panda 3 book titles like The Power of Po and Secrets of the Secret Panda Village were revealed today, but we only got a book cover for Po’s Two Dads.

Po’s Two Dads will be available in stores on December 19 and Kung Fu Panda 3 will hit theaters on January 29, 2016.

Do you like the design of Po’s biological father? Are you excited for Kung Fu Panda 3?
