ROTOSCOPERS-2014-awards

Every year, we celebrate the best animation has to offer with the Rotoscopers Awards. These awards allow the Rotoscopers community to weigh on and ultimately decide who they think were the top dogs in animation this year in a variety of categories.

Now last year’s awards were a bit lopsided with Frozen dominating nearly every category (understandable based on how head over heels we, the community, and the entire world were about that film). This year, however, the playing field should be a lot more even since there were a lot of fantastic films released, which will leads to more exciting and diverse results.

Without further adieu, the categories for the 2014 Rotoscopers Awards are:

Movie Awards

  • Best Animated Film
  • Best Animated Short
  • Best Animated TV Show/TV Special
  • Best Voice Acting (Male)
  • Best Voice Acting (Female)
  • Best Animated Character
  • Best Animated Sidekick Character
  • Breakout Character
  • Best Villain
  • Best Song
  • Best Score
  • Best Quote/Line
  • Best Marketing Campaign
  • Best Animated Movie Trailer
  • Most Anticipated Animated Movie of 2015

Rotoscopers Website Awards

  • Best Animation Addicts Podcast Episode
  • Best Opinion Piece

VOTE HERE!

Voting will be open until December 29. So be sure to vote and let your voice be heard!

The winners of this year’s Rotoscopers Awards will be announced during this year’s Best of 2015 Animation Addicts podcast episode, which will be released on January 2, 2015! So be sure to subscribe to stay tuned for the results.
