Tyler Perry is making his first foray into family animation with the release of Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Tough Love, which will be available on DVD on January 20 and Digital HD on January 13.
The film is a family-friendly adventure, which is exactly why Tyler Perry choose animation to present this new chapter in the Madea series. The plot is as follows:
After a hilarious run-in with the law, Madea is sentenced to community service. Determined to do good for the ’hood, Madea enlists Aunt Bam and Uncle Joe to try and save the Moms Mabley Youth Center from being shut down. With her irresistible sass and wisdom, Madea rallies the local kids to make a stand—and proves that behind her tough exterior is a whole lot of love!
To celebrate the upcoming release, we were given two exclusive images from the film to debut for our readers. The two images both feature the hilarious, sassy Madea herself, who will do whatever it takes to save a youth center from closing its doors for good.
In addition to the images, we also have a sneak-peak clip to give you. The clip was made available as a special feature on Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas Blu-ray/DVD, which was released last month. This clip shows Madea being sassy at some hooligan kids, scolding them to take care of the community and everyone in it. As a result, she gets arrested and tries to cajole three cops to get out of it.
