The retrospective is titled AN ANIMATED WORLD: CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF GKIDS CLASSICS and will include the screenings of:
- My Neighbor Totoro

- Ernest & Celestine
- Nocturna, Tales of the Knight

- Along with a selection of shorts from the New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival.
This event comes at a really great time as summer has just begun and there’s no better way to escape the heat than by enjoying some old, and new animated favorites at the theater.
GKIDS will be handling the distribution in the US for the upcoming releases of The Tale of Princess Kaguya by Isao Takahata for Studio Ghibli, Song of the Sea by Tomm Moore, and A Letter to Momo by Hiroyuki Okiura.
