We’ve all known Frozen was something special. The critical praise, box-office triumphs, soundtrack notoriety, and viral craze have proven that much.
But today on Good Morning America, the true impact of this film was made known to all in a magic moment that encompasses Frozen‘s legacy. Compiled of viewer-submitted videos as well as live glimpses of Idina Menzel, the US Army, Disney animators, recent YouTube sensations, and even Anna and Elsa themselves is a simulcast sing-along of “Let It Go.” It’s a celebration of what this song and this film mean to so many, and a touching tribute just in time for the Oscars this Sunday. It’s made it. Frozen is part of the Disney family.
