New Sneak Peak Posters from DreamWorks ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’

DreamWorks Animation Studios released three sneak peek posters to the new How to Train Your Dragon 2. These are zoomed in portions of the posters and the full-size version will be released tomorrow.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the 2010 hit film How to Train Your Dragon. A few months ago, DreamWorks Animation released a teaser trailer that showed off the beautiful animation and now were getting these gorgeous posters. I can’t wait to see more of this film.

“The thrilling second chapter of the epic How To Train Your Dragon trilogy brings back the fantastical world of Hiccup and Toothless five years later. While Astrid, Snoutlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island’s new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace”.

These sneak peeks look really good, the colors are beautiful; the characters and outfits are also exquisite. I’ve never been a big DreamWorks fanatic, but the more and more I see of this film (and of Mr. Peabody & Sherman) the more I become a fan. What I’ve seen in the teaser and again in these sneak peeks looks beautiful and the story sounds pretty good as well, it seems DreamWorks finally learned how to create amazing stories and memorable characters.

Tomorrow the full posters will be released. How to Train Your Dragon 2 will release in theatres June 13, 2014.
