In this new trailer for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, we get an even greater in-depth look to the new creatures that this movie will be hosting. These ‘foodimals’ were accidentally created by the movie’s protagonist, Flint Lockwood. His machine has malfunctioned yet again to create mutant creatures that are a cross of animals and foods.

This sequel is supposed to pick up where the original story left off. Flint has his dream job, working for the technology company, Live Corp, with his idol, Chester V. This company is in charge of cleaning up Flint’s last mess in Swallow Falls, which was documented in the first film. This island is now home to a variety of crazy critters, which is sure to create a fun adventure with lots of laughs. The creatures look absolutely fantastic, and the creativity behind them is awesome.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 comes to theaters on September 27.
