Disney Film in the Works from ‘Tangled’ Director

The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Byron Howard has a film in the pipeline for Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Howard recently co-directed Tangled (2010, with Nathan Greno) and Bolt (2008, with Chris Williams), both for Disney. Howard and Greno also directed the short Tangled Ever After (2012) together.

Howard’s new project is, at least to the public, nameless and void of much else information. THR does say, though, that Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) will voice a character.

Following a report that the voice of Goofy will be in an upcoming mystery Pixar film, it’s a week of vague yet exciting news for Disney’s film slate.
