According to Entertainment Weekly, the Neanderthal family that has earned $386 million world wide since it’s release on March 22nd, is going to be back in business with a sequel.
No details have yet been released for The Croods 2, but I am sure that we can expect many of the actors to return for the sequel.
The Croods have been a welcome blessing to DreamWorks, as they suffered greatly after the $87 million write-down they faced with The Rise of the Guardians.
So far, DreamWorks Animation is planning on releasing 5 sequels/spinoffs, including How to Train Your Dragon 2 and 3, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Penguins of Madagascar, and now The Croods 2.
Man. And you thought Pixar was getting bad. Here’s hoping that the animation company will be able to produce good sequels!
