New Trailer for ‘Epic’ Released

Epic, which is to be released on May 24th 2013, just released a new trailer. In this trailer, more is released about the plot. Before, we simply knew that a girl had been shrunk down and then has to survive in a world filled with tiny people Honey, I Shrunk the Kids– style. Now the plot-line for the movie reads:

A teenager finds herself transported to a deep forest setting where a battle between the forces of good and evil rages on. She bands together with a rag-tag group characters in order to save their world — and ours.

We also see that her father looks to be a central character to the plot. While the animation seems top notch, the villain comes off rather pathetic in this two-minute commercial. Still, I can’t help but be excited for this movie. The little people fly around on hummingbirds for Pete’s sake!

This movie also has an all-star voice cast, including Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Beyoncé Knowles, and (of course) Pitbull.
