There has been quite a lull in news since the release of the teaser trailer nearly three months ago, but DreamWorks Animation just released six new character movie posters for the upcoming flick Rise of the Guardians via Apple Trailers.

Each poster focuses on one of the film’s six main childhood imaginary icons: the good guys—Jack Frost, Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and the Sandman—and the bad guy—Pitch the Bogeyman. Rise of the Guardians is one of two films currently in development based on William Joyce’s children’s books; the other is Blue Sky Studios’ Epic.

The posters also give us a glimpse of our heroes hecnhman: Santa’s cone-shaped elves, the Tooth Fairy’s humminbird-like sprites and the Easter Bunny’s egg minions. I’m still on the fence about the character design of the film, but Pitch in his poster looks particularly creepy and menacing. My favorite poster is that of the fanciful Tooth Fairy, whose feathers and wings are mesmerizing.

Check out the postser below! Which poster is your favorite?
