We’re eagerly awaiting the release of the new Kung Fu Panda 3 teaser trailer that is supposed to drop online this Thursday. Today, however, we were already treated to some first footage from the film when a Chinese teaser for film debuted online.

Check out the epic Chinese teaser trailer below:

DreamWorks Animation kicked off Kung Fu Panda 3′s marketing campaign earlier this week when they revealed a first look at the film on USA Today. The stills and article discussed the roles of Bryan Cranston, who is playing Po’s biological father, and Rebel Wilson, who is playing a female panda named Mei Mei, and we got a first look at their characters as well as more information about their roles in the film.

This new Chinese trailer focused more on all the action-packed scenes that are going to be in the movie as well as the film’s villain Kai, played by J.K Simmons. It’s interesting to see the differences between the American and Chinese marketing campaign for the film and we’re excited to see what the upcoming American teaser trailer has to offer.

Kung Fu Panda 3 is co-directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni, and produced by Melissa Cobb. The film’s entire original voice cast featuring Jack Black (Po), Angelina Jolie (Tigress), Lucy Liu (Viper), Seth Rogen (Mantis), Jackie Chan (Monkey), David Cross (Crane), Randall Duk Kim, (Oogway), James Hong (Mr. Ping), and Dustin Hoffman (Master Shifu) are returning in their respective roles, and new additions to the voice cast include Rebel Wilson as Mei Mei, Bryan Cranston as Li, Steele Gagnon as Bao and J.K Simmons as Kai.

”In 2016, one of the most successful animated franchises in the world returns with its biggest comedy adventure yet, KUNG FU PANDA 3. When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible—learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!”

Kung Fu Panda 3 opens in theaters January 29, 2016.
