It seems one of the thing that movie fans get pumped about these days are trailers. There’s a lot of hype around when a studio releases the first trailer for a film. Today, Dallas-based animation studio Reel FX is getting on the trailer-hype train and announced on its Facebook page that the first trailer for The Book of Life will go live tomorrow.
The studio also announced that the trailer will play before Maleficent, which is a safe choice considering a lot of Disney lovers will see the film this weekend and most likely will be more drawn to the animated The Book of Life. The Big Hero 6 trailer (which was released online last week) will also play in front of Maleficent.
Reel FX also started an official Facebook page for The Book of Life last week. Since the page is only a week old, there isn’t much happening except for links to articles about the film and the countdown to the trailer. It’s interesting that the page doesn’t have an official logo as its profile picture and cover photo (even though the logo is shown on the trailer countdown photos), but hopefully that will come soon.
