Merida Looks Stunning in Pixar’s New Brave Poster

Earlier today, Apple’s iTunes Movie Trailers unveiled a new movie poster for Pixar’s upcoming summer release, Brave. The poster showcases the story’s lead heroine, Merida, weilding a bow and arrow while a foreboding bear lurks in the background.

The poster is gorgeous and, simply, stunning. Merida looks youthful and captivating. The poster’s color palette is a misty shade of blue, which is striking when juxtaposed with Merida’s feriously wild red mane. Her hair’s texture looks very painterly, which will be interesting to see how it plays out on screen.

Disney also launched their website for the film. The website features a detailed character guide, a storybook-like preview, a gallery and the film’s trailers. Brave’s final theatrical trailer will be released tomorrow.

What are your thoughts on the new poster and website?
