An all-new, feature-length documentary entitled I Know That Voice will draw back the curtain to reveal the voice talent behind some of animation’s most memorable characters.
We all have those moments when we recognize a specific voice in a character, but seldom do we actually have the chance to see the talented people behind those voices. I Know That Voice exists to shine the spotlight on those stories and people.
The documentary will span throughout multiple generations of actors and all types of mediums, from June Foray to Tom Kenny and from classic ‘toons to modern video games. There are dozens and dozens of people interviewed in this feature.
The film is a production of Record Farm Industries with Dundee Entertainment and Cinovative.
The project’s existence has been known of for a while, but it hasn’t gotten a particularly widespread circulation, and it’s likely that many animation fans (that’s you!) may not have heard about this extremely exciting endeavor.
No specific release date is charted yet, though the DVD is set for an estimated “fall” arrival. This should be a fun one. Check out the trailer below:
