According to the latest MPAA ratings announced on Box Office Mojo, the upcoming CG animated film, Ratchet & Clank, received a PG rating. Based on the video game series of the same name, the film, which tells the origin story of the characters Ratchet and Clank, earned the PG rating for “action and some rude humor.” This will be Rainmaker Entertainment’s second theatrical film to be rated PG after 2013’s Escape to Planet Earth.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ratchet & Clank will feature the voices of James Arnold Taylor, David Kaye, Paul Giamatti, John Goodman, Sylvester Stallone, Bella Thorne, and Rosario Dawson, among others. The film is set to be released in the U.S. on April 29, 2016.
