Seth MacFarlane’s (Familly Guy creator) new show Bordertown is not due to make an appearance on TVs across America until early next year. However, MacFarlane and the crew have already begun making their rounds with the press, including at San Diego Comic Con, and have been screening the very first episode.
The trailer was released earlier this summer and gives an interesting look at what will surely be an interesting show, to say the least. Check out the trailer below but a word of CAUTION: Much like Family Guy, the content of Bordertown is definitely on the raunchy side, and given the premise, it is of course politically charged.
In a brilliant move to promote the show before its official debut on TV next year, writer and consulting producer Lalo Alcaraz will be doing small screenings of the first episode along with a Q&A. Below is a short list of screenings we know of so far. We will update this article if we hear of any others:
- Friday, September 25th: PAZ Cantina Phoenix, AZ
- Wednesday, September 30th: Whittier College Whittier, CA
- Sunday, October 11th: New York ComicCon New York City, NY
Hank Azaria, Nicholas Gonzalez, Alex Borstein, Missi Pyle, and Judah Friedlander along with others will be lending their voices to the show.
Will you try to catch a screening before the big TV debut?
