According to Cartoon Brew, we learn the trailer for the upcoming animated film, The Wild Life, has debuted.
Originally a Belgian-animated film entitled Robinson Crusoe, this English dub tells the story of Robinson Crusoe, a man shipwrecked on an island, from the perspective of multiple talking animals who live on that island. The English dub is being handled by Lionsgate who will release the film via “their Summit Entertainment label.”
The film is directed by Vincent Kesteloot and Ben Stassen (A Turtle’s Tale 2: Sammy’s Escape from Paradise). There is no information yet on the voice cast for the English dub. The film is set to hit U.S. theaters on September 9, 2016.
Are you interested in this animated adaptation of Robinson Crusoe? Would you prefer them to release the original film in the US rather than an English dub? Let us know in the comments below!
