As any Simpsons aficionado knows, Sideshow Bob (voiced by Kelsey Grammer) has tried to kill Bart Simpson for the better part of the past twenty-five years.
Saturday, at the ATX Festival in Texas, The Simpsons executive producer Al Jean revealed that – during this year’s Halloween episode – Sideshow Bob will finally succeed in killing Bart. This should make for a fun “Treehouse of Horror.”
The festival also yielded other information. Harry Shearer (voice of Ned Flanders and Mr. Burns, among others) announced that he will quit The Simpsons. A new deal is still in the works in an attempt to prevent Shearer’s departure.
Plus, the beloved Simpsons Movie character Spider-Pig will resurface at some point during the next season.
