We told you about the Canadian produced short film Foxed! back in June, and it’s finally available for digital download on iTunes. The film, which is doing really well on iTunes, is directed by James Stewart and Geneva Film Co. produced the stop motion short film which is being used as a platform for the feature length film still in production.
Be astonished by what lurks in plain sight. The sinister 3D stop-motion world of Foxed! reveals young Emily toiling in mines beneath her house, imprisoned by foxes who have duped her entire town into believing children can be replaced. Teeming with shadow and light, this grown up animation unfolds to explore themes of oppression and human rights in a riveting package that creates questions and leaves the audience anxious for more.
Foxed! is on iTunes for $2.99 so there’s really no reason not to support this wonderful collection of independent filmmakers, not to mention you’d get an inside look at what the feature length film is going to look like. For an added bonus, here’s a behind the scenes featurette on the film.
