Next month, FXX will have the longest TV-marathon of a show in history, with all 522 episodes of The Simpsons and the movie being aired back-to-back from 10 a.m. on August 21st to 12 a.m. on September 1st. This means a straight week and a half of 24-hours Simpsons and couch sitting!
Following this mega-marathon that would be a pure dream to Homer, FXX will launch “The Simpsons World.” This will be a digital hub that will allow cable subscribers to be able to watch every single episode of The Simpsons on their computers at SimpsonsWorld.com. To stream on a tablet device or phone, you will need the FXNow App. The show will also be streamed on smart TVs and set-top boxes.
Viewers can also search for quotes, and share their favorite clips. Non-subscribers will (very sadly) only be able to watch clips, and not full-length episodes.
You better hit the Kwik-E-Mart soon to start preparing for your marathon. You don’t want Homer wiping out your local Springfield out of all of its Duff and donuts.
