Here’s the sitch: the Kim Possible live-action film has found its leads.

Sadie Stanley, a 16 year old from Columbia, South Carolina, landed the role of the red headed hero in her first audition ever, and Sean Giambrone, an 18 year old best known for his role as Adam Goldberg on The Goldbergs, will play Kim’s sidekick, best friend, and eventual boyfriend, Ron Stoppable.

The original, animated Kim Possible series, which debuted on Disney Channel in 2002, was created by Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley, and both men will write the live-action film’s script alongside Josh Cagan. In addition to their writing roles, McCorkle and Schooley will executive produce with Zanne Devine. Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky will co-direct and co-produce.

The live-action Kim Possible movie will premiere in 2019 on Disney Channel.
