This week, Aardman Animations and the National Accident Helpine have released a behind-the-scenes look at the way the Aardman Animations creates some of its unique animation.
In this making of clip, we get a glimpse of the storyboarding and sets that were used, as well as the design of the organization’s mascot “Underdog.”
Chris ‘Enty’ Entwistle, Head of Model Making at Aardman, points out how their attention to detail brings the carefully crafted characters to life. The Underdog has a “brow a little like Gromit from Wallace & Gromit, and you can get an awful lot of expression from that!” he says.”
The National Accident Hotline is based in the UK and is a hotline for citizens to call if they’ve been injured in an access that wasn’t their fault.
