In a nice break from the nonstop Brave news we’ve been covering (such as the final trailer released today), Pixar announced more information about three of its other upcoming films.
The biggest news was the announcement of a 2015 film that centered around the Mexican holiday Día de Los Muetros. According to Variety, This film will be directecd by Toy Story 3 director, Lee Unkrich and produced by longtime Pixar producer, Darla K. Anderson. The news came straight from the horses mouth, Pixar CEO John Lasseter, from the stage at CinemaCon today in Las Vegas.
In other Pixar-related news, the dinosaur feature directed by Bob Peterson finally received both a release date of May 30, 2014 and an official title: The Good Dinosaur. Nothing is known about the plot yet, but perhaps it will be based off the New Testament parable “The Good Samaritan” due to a similar name. Then again, maybe not. Lastly, the “Untitled Pixar Movie that Takes You Inside the Mind” directed by Pete Doctor got a release date of June 19, 2015.
Which of these three films are you looking forward to the most?
