Sony Pictures Animation just released a new featurette on its YouTube channel<\/a> in which Tartakovsky shares some test animation of Popeye, Olive Oil and a few rogue pirates.\r\n\r\n

So far, international audiences are loving it<\/a>, which makes us even more excited to check it out.\r\n\r\nBut just in time for the film's release, the soundtrack to the film--The Boxtrolls \u2013 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack--<\/em>is being released a few days early on September 23rd<\/a> by Back Lot Music. It will be available as a CD and digitally.\r\n\r\nThe album will include the original score by Dario Marianelli, who worked with the team on the soundtrack very early on in the pre-production process; an original song called \"The Boxtrolls Song\" by Eric Idle of the Monty Python troupe; as well as \"classic songs\" performed by the band Loch Lomond.
