A trailer for Netflix’s first original animated film, Klaus, has been released! Featuring the voices of Jason Schwartzman, J.K. Simmons, Joan Cusack, and Rashida Jones, Klaus shares a new and hilarious origins story of the fabled Santa Claus. Check out the trailer below!
Klaus, directed by Sergio Pablos (Despicable Me), is unique nowadays in that it is hand drawn. Cartoon Brew reports that the film’s artistic style was “achieved via an innovative lighting and rendering pipeline that is applied to the drawn animation.”
Klaus will be in select theaters in the US on November 8th, 2019, and premiere on Netflix on November 15th, 2019.
