I mean, why would a wreck-it ralph sequel require him to go to the internet anyway? It’s just hard to see how this setting would expand on the characters and arcs of the first movie.

Sorry, I am really failing to see how having the film focus on exploring the internet is lame compared to anything else they could have used. This is has just as much possibilities as any other concept they could have done. If you don’t like the concept that’s fine, but I don’t think you should discredit what could be done with it.

He’s kind of too old to understand dank memes. I’m worried it’s going to be “hello fellow kids.” It needs to be ironic and stupid to work.

Either way I’m still skeptical. It just looks and feels stupid. Ralph was about video games and should have stayed that way. There were like a billion ideas they could have gone with and this is the one they chose. It’s lame but I’ll stay cautiously optimistic because the first one was so good.

What does Rich Moore’s age have to do with anything? Also, while there are some ideas that the sequel could’ve done that could be more related to video games, we should at least appreciate that they are taking the film in a more wild direction. I mean if they were to do another sequel about video games, the only thing I think they could do would be Ralph and the gang entering more video game parody worlds. Even that would probably be not as fresh as it was in the original. At least the internet has a lot more possibilities to mind for creatively. Web surfing, websites, online pirating, virus, click bating, and even online gaming are many things the sequel could play around with. I really don’t think anyone on the project is going to treat this like an Illumination film because if there is any company that puts there best foot forward in terms of animation it’s Disney. The team they put on any film project always goes above and beyond for a good quality film.

Even though this was in development longer than The Emoji Movie. What is it with people saying _____ is a rip off just because the premise is similar? Do people know how long it takes to make a movie and the process that goes behind it? There is no way two films with the same premise or idea can rip each other off so quickly.

I’m not familiar with internet gaming either. But I do trust the creators as well.
