In reply to Phin68. This wasn't animated with flash. This was a cut-out animation in Toon Boom. Those kind of smoother animations with 2D models with textures can be achieved (easily) on Toon Boom. Examples of these kind of animations on TV series are Penn Zero, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, etc.

In reply to lillypad2114. I don't 100% think Disney will revive Tadashi at some point in the TV Series run. However, I won't be surprised if that will saved for a possible big screen sequel of Big Hero 6.

I’ll look into it and pray it isn’t as kiddish as the Lion Guard (makes sense its on Playhouse Disney) but I’m looking for something along the lines of Star wars Rebels or Dragons: Race to the edge. Actually giving the older members of the audience something to stick around for like great characters you WISH were in the movie’s like Heather from RTTE.
I really am annoyed though that they have to bring the hair back and can’t just have Rapunzel learning more about living outside a tower. Almost fearful that Disney will next bring Tadashi back because some magic pixie sparkle dust.
The animation isn’t terrible but it looks less defined than MLP.

Im on board. Disney has really been integrating a great deal of quality into their animation, so I feel optimistic about this one. Plus who doesn’t love some Tangled?

Not a fan of the flash animation, but I’ll bite. Tangled is my favorite Disney film of this generation, and I would love to see more stories told from this universe.

I’m actually really excited to see Rapunzel and Flynn again like this!! I honestly can’t wait to see the explanation for the hair and definitely checking out the series as well, so exciting!!!
