I honestly think they should have spinoff films from these worlds through DisneyToon Studios. They had Tinker Bell spinoff from Peter Pan and Planes spinoff from Cars. Maybe they could have a spinoff of another character exploring the arcade, or another animal dealing problems in Zootopia, or maybe Baymax spinoff.

Yeah that’s exactly what I was pointing out. That Ralph 2 & Frozen 2 seem close together, both were recent films, and that Disney seems to be going down the franchise path like the other studios. As you said, they haven’t been the type of studio to do that before now, besides The Rescuers Down Under & not counting the direct-to-video sequels. I’m not against good sequels or franchises it’s just…less room for originals, I guess.

Amen to that! Even Monsters University was good as the original Monsters Inc. (happy 15th anniversary) despite changing continuity of Mike & Sully’s first meeting for the sole purpose of bringing Billy Crystal and John Goodman back. Toy Story 3 belongs in that category too (not the 2nd but just my opinion).

I was only a little disappointed with Frozen. I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect anyway.

I think that’s not out of the question, but hopefully if they do drop the ball they get back on top quickly , or drop it in the way Pixar has, that is to say, Pixar may be weaker now, but damn is their stuff still good
