It’s been about a year. But in all fairness, an opinion is an opinion. People like it more, obviously, but with this much acclaim, I think it can last. Many other Disney films went this way.

Yes, Blu-ray movies bought overseas do work. You have to make sure they’re “Region Free” though or they will not play on your Blu-ray player. My wife just bought me The Hunchback of Notre Dame Blu-ray steelbook that was released in the UK, it plays just fine. I also ordered the “Frozen” 3D Blu-ray import from the UK. Big Hero 6 is getting a 3D Blu-ray release in the UK, so that one will be an import purchase for me as well. You can find all of these movies for purchase on Amazon.co.uk with available shipping to the US! Hope this helps!

I KNOW! I was HUGELY disappointed in Disney for not releasing the 3D Blu ray here. Even if they don’t produce enough to stock store shelves, they should at least offer it for online order locally. I was annoyed that I to go through Amazon to get my 3D copy of Book of Life, but grateful I at least had the option. I should look up Frozen & Big Hero 6 overseas. It’s been working well for everyone?
