Loved the original teaser for this one. Captain Quark yelling “WHERE’S THE DUBSTEP?!” Was definitely a big LOL for me. I will be seeing this one.

In reply to aquapyro. Have you ever seen Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva? That is on video game movie that I thought was fantastic. I don't think that you can say that a movie is going to be bad purely on it being based on a video game franchise.

I am cautiously optimistic…the fact that they don’t have a release date listed yet worries me. Will it be the best animated film ever? No, definitely not, but does it have to be? No, no it does not. It’s a love letter to fans of the series more than anything else and I think that is wonderful. So many video game movies fail because they try to change what it’s about. They mess it up so they can appeal to a mass audience. Ratchet and Clank doesn’t seem to be doing that. I will go and I hope it’s great. If not, then I can accept that, but I won’t go in with pessimism.

There are rules in life. You die, pay taxes and video game movies will always suck. Even though they have the story made from the game developers, I don’t have high hopes for it.
