This will be Mel Brooks second time being in something related to Dracula. He had a movie called Dracula: Dead and Loving It which came out in 1995.

The first movie surprised me, despite how cheesy the basic premise was. I have no doubt that the sequel will be decent, or at the least, pretty dang funny last the first was, even though the basic plot for this one sounds just as cheesy and predictable as HT1.

But… Mel Brooks and Adam Sandler [as well as Tartakovsky and Smigel]. This should be screaming comedy gold already and we have yet to get a teaser trailer. Call me hyped.

While I wasn’t too big of a fan of the original Hotel Transylvania (amazing animation but a weak story), I’m excited to see more of this. This new image looks really fun, I just hope this one will have better story than the original one.

It sounds too much like Rio 2 but maybe Hotel Transylvania will do a better job with the story, and I love that Mel Brooks will be part of this, his movies always put a smile on my face especially, Space Balls, and Men in Tights!
