Meet Fish, Shoe, Eggs and all the other Boxtrolls in an all new featurette for LAIKA’s The Boxtrolls.
A new featurette for the film was recently released on Moviefone.com. The featurette introduces us to some of the Boxtrolls including Fish, Shoe and of course orphan boy Eggs who gets raised by the little boxed creatures.
LAIKA studios, the beloved animation studio behind animated stop-motion films such as Coraline and Paranorman is returning to the big screen next month with its third animated feature: The Boxtrolls. The Boxtrolls, based off Alan Snow’s novel Here Be Monsters!, tells the story of an orphan boy named Eggs who is raised by a group of trash collecting trolls called the Boxtrolls. The Boxtrolls are targeted by an evil exterminator named Archibald Snatcher and it’s Eggs’ job to save his family from Snatcher.
The film is directed by Graham Annable and Anthony Stacchi and it features the voices of Isaac Hempstead Wrigth, Elle Fanning and Ben Kingsley.
The Boxtrolls opens in theaters September 26, 2014.
