Maybe they already had an idea and wanted to make sure the movie would succeed before green-lighting it. Of course, they can’t fit everything they had in mind in a 100 minutes. I for one am not complaining about a sequel for The Lego Movie. It was fantastic, and there’s much left to explore in the Lego ® world.

Of course movies are about making money, every business is about making money. But it’s annoying me that animation studios announce their sequels 2 weeks after the original movie has released just because it made money or it was popular, not because they want to expand the world or characters. Ok. This movie worked let’s move on to something completely different and let’s hope people will love it as well.

Every movie is about making money, every studio, Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks etc, every studio wants to make profits for Their company. Pixar likes to take time with their animations for example but they still want make money.it’s every animators goal to make the billion, just like the frozen sing along in the UK and USA and other countries , that was a clear marketing scheme to get closer to making the 1 billion Mark, and it will clearly Make it. The more money an studio makes the more movies they can make. That’s why cars made a sequel, the cars toy products has made $1.5 billion dollars for the Walt Disney Company in 2013
