I like it! I hope that flora design is used in the movie. I’m really happy this has some stylization to it. It really screams stop-motion, can’t wait to see how the dinosaur talks. His mouth is huge.

In reply to The Animation Commendation. It's present day, but in an alternate universe where Dinosaurs never died, thus Dinosaurs became intelligent and humans remained caveman like due to being the ones always hiding to survive

I think it’s kind of interesting, although it doesn’t look how I expected it to. I like that the dinosaur has freckles on his nose. However, for some reason I don’t like the human boy’s design. I am excited for this movie because I love dinosaurs, but I have to admit that I’m disappointed about the fact that the dinosaurs will be talking in this movie. No one has done an animated movie in which the dinosaurs don’t talk and I have been hoping for something like that for as long as I can remember. Despite that, I still am interested in the movie though. I kind of like the poster and I’m glad to see it so that now I have a better idea about what the look of the film might be like.

I personally think the poster looks kind of ugly, and disturbing. A bit too cartoony for Pixar. The film doesn’t seem that interesting, but there is still 2 years left. We’ll see.

I like the little boy’s design! Only similarity I see with the Croods (which I loved) is that it’s a caveman, but the face looks more Pixary to me. It’s the super long nose dinosaur I’m not sure about. I like the color, but for such a large character he looks plain. It seems like lost potential to not give him more unique stripes or something. He almost looks like a toy out of Toy Story world. Though I still have high hopes for this revamped film!

Not only does this look too similar to The Croods but I can also make guesses as to how the “Pixar formula” of sentimentality will be worked into the story just by looking at this poster! That kind of sucks because it is now apparent that that formula has kind of been run dry by Pixar at this point. Unless they really do something different, I am guessing each successive Pixar film will become less and less touching for audiences as they are now privy to the plot workings of a typical Pixar movie.
