Looks like a great project, but not progressing super fast 🙁 And sadly, I have neither the funds nor the temperament to really push a Kickstarter project.

This movie reminds me of a scene from the movie “Looney Tunes Back in Action.” In that scene, Elmer Fudd chases Bugs Bunny through a bunch of classic paintings. As they jump from one painting to another, their style changes to match the style of the painting they’re in. It was a pretty cool scene.

This looks amazing! I love the idea and it just looks amazing! Haha. Why aren’t they making this film with Disney? It could be a great Disney classic and if you have some good voice actors, composer and an amazing creative team this movie could win for sure an oscar.

In reply to Morgan Stradling. There's actually an FAQ section on their Kickstarter page asking if the project is going to be in 2D or 3D, and the animators said that the character movement all depends on the feel of the paintings, and that both 2D and 3D will probably be used!

This movie looks absolutely incredible, fun and unique. I’m sort of getting a Pagemaster vibe, but in a good way. This will be WAY cooler and better produced than that movie.

It’s a shame it currently is only at $80K of its $350K goal. I’ve never contributed to a Kickstarted before, but I definitely am going to help this one out! It’s going to be INCREDIBLE animation (most likely 2D!) for heaven’s sake! We need more! 🙂

I really hope this film can pull though. Think how awesome it would be to see animation stylized like these paintings. The technology is there, now it’s high time that something like this is carried out.
