Yes, rap is a huge part of KPop. For instance, BTS has 7 members in total out of which 3 are part of the rap line while the other 4 are singers. Lisa from Blackpink is also a rapper (like Zoe in the film).

I guess Mira's voice reminded Morgan of Raven from Teen Titans, or Poison Ivy from the Harley Quinn animated series. It could also be Lucy the goth sister from The Loudhouse.

I watched this film the day after it came out, partly because I thought my mum might like it as she enjoys some Korean things. Unfortunately I was left a bit disappointed, the animation was great, I thought the music was fine, but the story just seemed very convoluted by the end. What you talked about as to so much being cut down makes a lot of sense. I still think it’s a good movie overall, just left me feeling confused about what was going on and how and why in the last third or so.
