While everything about this trailer looks promising, the truly innovative visual style is hands down the biggest attraction. Heck, I would be intrigued by this even if I *didn’t* care much for the story. Kudos to Sony for pushing boundaries and exploring some of the more unconventional things this medium can do. I really hope this inspires other studios to start playing around with visual styles for theatrical animated releases as well.

Omg I can’t get enough of this trailer after a week, IT’S AMAZINGGGGGG!!! The style alone is just inspired and how much fun this all looks!! I can’t stop watching this trailer when someone brings it up and just the excitement around it!! Also can’t wait to see Lord and Miller get some praise after Solo for them didn’t work out

In reply to jacobs06. I feel like Marvel could make animated movies in the vein of this if it is a story or character that can't be tackled in the MCU. Or something that they want to be standalone. Making these types of movies are the way they can tell those stories and even do something inventive that fully embraces the comic book style. Marvel kind of did this when they made those Rocket and Groot shorts that took place before Guardians Of The Galaxy that had a very unique style ripped straight from Skottie Young's illustrations.

dc and marvel should really do these types of 3d animated movies for their comic book characters. Like really get going…I seriously don’t understand how marvel, which has disney and pixar studios, has the ability to start something like this and dc has a whole slew of people who have created the dcau before, yet sony has beaten them to the punch. This is a potential gold mine, not only in terms of BO profits, but to also do more experimental animation, narratives and to begin building their characters and possibly an equivalent to the dcau or mcu but in 3d animated form. Making it animated also makes it not limited to the limitations of live action.

Looks animation spectacular, am excited for this take on Spider-Man, hope they won’t cram too many Spider-people, let Miles have his movie.
