With the directing duo of Sausage Party behind this, I swear to god Greg Tiernan better not treat the animators like slaves once again. Other than that though, I think this in good hands to be a freakishly awesome version of this iconic family.

While I think the live action films range from fine to decent, I always felt The Addams Family was best suited for animation and I am glad they are taking that route. The cast is also great as well. However, my only problem is the studio involved with producing the animation: Cinesite Studios. While I don’t know how capable they are as an animation studio and I will give them credit for capturing the style of the original comics, I can’t forget the fact that they did the animation for Sony’s “The Star”. And that looked like a direct to DVD film. Hopefully, they can give us something visually unique with this film.
