A Spaghetti Western Star Wars score sounds like a dream. Perhaps when Mangold directs that boba fett movie we’ll get it, he’s a really good western director.

Thank you for sharing your review of the “Solo” soundtrack. I remember being excited when I heard Michael Giacchino was doing “Rogue One” because I liked the theme he did for the 2009 “Star Trek” film and felt some of that metallic/military score also got woven into “Rogue One’. I also wish he had more time to do the “Rogue One” score but after listening several times, I do enjoy Jyn’s theme from that one.

Marauders Arrive is indeed a highlight from “Solo” and I especially like the chorus/tribunal vocals throughout it. I would be delighted to see new elements incorporated into future Star Wars soundtracks and a song with a spaghetti-western element would have fit in well with “Solo”. Perhaps future SW film makers will learn to experiment more and create an outstanding soundtrack.
