There’s no excuse for vikings having that little facial hair at 25. It’s been established that this is a culture where men grow beards. Their dads have huge beards. It makes no sense to bare have a few patchy hair at 25.

While we are at it, this series has been like therapy to me as each installment came in a difficult chapter of my life. 1st was when I was 17 I had just lost two of my extended aunts from Sacramento at two different times back in 2010 one before I saw the movie and after. Meanwhile I was having a mostly stressful sophomore year of high school with English and Algebra. So the new decade wasn’t off to a great start for me. For the 2nd movie at age 21 four years ago I struggled to find educational success after high school. Then six months have passed since my grandma from my mom’s side died from leukemia half a year after turning 90. Lastly, Disney milking Frozen quickly that summer was overwhelming just months after I saw it at the El Capitan in Hollywood.

It’s like I’ve grown up along with Hiccup and we are around each other’s age. There seems to be a connection between us with the fact that I was 17 when the first movie came out.

Time jump doesn’t surprise me much. I wasn’t 100% prepared for this development but I am glad DA didn’t rush into things. Because I knew from the moment HTTYD 2 ended that things were about to change for better for worst.

The sure seems to be a time gap and that’s a great continuation. After all creating a dragon utopia would take quite some time to accomplish. I do appreciate DA for continuing taking that risk.

He probably shaved. Joking aside, Ive noticed how many react to them looking younger than the usual characters would at that age. That being said I think it’s refreshing to see characters that might well be late bloomers if that’s the case. Hiccup and the gang has been confirmed to be in their 20s from Dean. After CinemaCon many believe that Hiccup will be 25 in the third film. When comparing the models from 2 to 3 one can see that Hiccup has aged. I’m just happy that he isn’t all bulky of a sudden.
