And the fun thing about it is how it feels like it’s own thing and really is one of the best Barbie films and how they can be creatively impressive with all they had!! Seriously love this movie to death, and this review really got me more pumped about how good it is!! :DDD

I agree with you Anna. They could make these with no effort and just to sell toys but they really try to make it entertaining. Practically every movie is cobranded and merchandised but that doesn’t mean there is no effort in the final product

I’m sorry, but that is incredibly stupid. If you look at it like that any movie is created to sell a product. You think just because someone (in this case Mattel) produced the movie to promote and help sell the toys, that stopped the actual creators of this movie to put their talents and efforts into this? Finally, it is simply silly to rate a movie that you haven’t seen.

If that was the case than they wouldn’t have gone to the trouble to have London Symphony Orchestra and top tier voice talent perform. I actually think they make more of an effort than they need to. They aren’t there to just sell toys any more than the Lego movie exists to sell legos. They are a tool to tell a story and they do it surprisingly well
