In reply to Jeremiah. There’s a 1979 animated version of the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe made by the same guys who created the Peanuts specials. Although while we’re waiting for the Silver Chair to come out, I would love an animated Netflix series for Narnia.

If there’s one book series that deserves to be animated, it would have to be The Dark Is Rising Sequence. The less said about the worst live action adaptation the better.

Wow these sound like amazing animated projects just waiting to be made!! SUCH AMAZING CHOICES!!
Seriously hope someone out there is thinking of making The Land of Stories animated, it has suuuuccchhh amazing potential, love that series to death!! :DDD

1. Savvy – a phenomenal book series that would make for an excellent trilogy of movies.
2. The Book of Lost Things – apparently the inspiration of Over the Garden Wall though that series deviated vastly from the book.
3. Tunnels – would make a great series with over 2000 pages of material. Would also make for a horrifying stop motion feature.
4. The Ranger’s Apprentice

My list

1. “A Song of Fire and Ice” yes I know the tv series is good yada yada. But it has been limited due to circumstances beyond their control. Such as the Young actors outgrowing the story which has caused the show to speed up the story to a point we barely remember the kids growing up at all , the other is the budget which has robbed us of the Direwolves and many big battles in the books etc. All these problems go away in Animation.

2. “The James Bond Series” Again the movies are good and we got that awful James Bond Jr cartoon in the 90s. But Bond would be amazing in Animation. Not only you have the great adventures, but the exoctic locales, and outrageous villains. Plus I want to see Bond in long form television for once.
